Delirious? Announce Omnisonic UK/Ireland Tour

Fresh from the recording of their latest studio album – and before they get down to business with early 08 dates in India, Colombia and the US – Delirious? are getting back on the road in the UK and Ireland this autumn. Playing clubs, a handful of theatres and a cathedral for good measure, the 12 dates will once again put on display one of the country’s most intriguing live acts along with special guests Electralyte.

Always pushing the new stuff, Delirious? will be playing half their new album on the tour – the first opportunity anyone has had to catch so many of these new tracks. And as if that wasn’t enough to set up the gigs nicely, try these facts on or size:

• In 2006 the band played in 26 different countries. As well as the usual tours of the UK and US, other less predictable destinations included Brazil, Latvia and Rwanda.

• Also in 2006, the band played to over a million people in Hyderabad. In January 2008 their trip to Mumbai will see them play to over 4 million people over just four nights.

• So far this year the band has played 51 gigs to an estimated total audience of 260,000.

• It’s not all that impressive though. They still live near Littlehampton.
