AEG and TK Entertainment are delighted to announce the news today that Delirious will be teaming up with American music guru Michael W Smith for a couple of highly exciting dates later this year. Supporting the man at the Odyssey Arena in Belfast and then at the Royal Albert Hall is something of an honour for the Littlehampton five-piece, and the gigs promise to be and underground treat in a decidedly high profile set of venues.

Delirious are excited already. According to one of their Smiths - Martin - supporting Michael W is a remarkable opportunity:

"The more you get to know the American scene," explains the Delirious frontman, "the clearer Michael's influence is. His integrity and passion are inspirational and it will be a joy for Delirious? to support Michael on our own turf."

Having done his time on stage with Amy Grant in the eighties, Smith has established a reputation for himself of establishing a reputation for others. As well as founding his own label that has unleashed a brace of talented acts onto the world stage, Smith has become something of a guiding influence on both sides of the Atlantic. His songs have inspired, his performances astounded and his albums delivered consistent targets for others to aim at. UK shows for Smith may be rare, but they are always the feast that audiences crave.
