Review: 'Libertad' Album

Recent GCSE statistics showed that Spanish is now the second most popular foreign language to learn here in the UK. Must be all those Spanish holidays. Meanwhile, the worldwide growth of Latin music means that it makes sense for Delirious? to release Libertad.

But don't worry we're not talking about a flamenco version of the Happy Song or Martin Smith modelling himself after Ricky Martin. Instead what you get are a dozen songs from the Cutting Edge album presented with new Spanish vocals from Mr Smith and the songs translated into Spanish.

Classic Delirious? material like Did You Feel the Mountains Tremble, Obsession, I'm Not Ashamed and I Could Sing Of Your Love Forever are all here. Practise your Spanish ahead of a holiday trip to the Balearics or prepare yourself to go to church in Spain! There's only one way to describe this... muy buen!
