So the d.org.uk blog is established. I haven't spent too much time sorting out the template yet, so before anyone says it, yes I know it doesn't look quite right. I'll work on that when I have more time, but the main thing is, it's readable (just about).
That brings me to my next point. For now I'm not going to publicise the blog. I'll give it a few days for me to get used to posting, sort out the design and layout, and actually have a few posts in here worth reading (if that ever happens!). So at the moment, the only way anyone could read this is if they stumble onto it. The address of the blog would be easy (obvious) to guess, so if anyone just happens to try typing
delirious.org.uk/blog then they'll find it. But apart from that, I'm not advertising the fact that I've started this just yet. All in good time. Despite the fact that nobody is reading this at the moment, I'll keep going in the knowledge that one day somebody might read this in the archive.
So in terms of the site... today I have added some
photos from the
Spirit West Coast festival in California. My good friend Becky Smith sent them to me (as she has done with practically every d: gig in CA for the past 5 years!), and hopefully there will be some more to come tomorrow from the
FishFest gig as well.
The d: boys are (as I type) flying home from the US for a well deserved few days of rest. Having spent the last week flying and travelling around the west coast of America, they probably need a month to recover. Unfortunately for them, and fortunately for the UK fans, they'll be back on the road in the UK next week with a few
festivals.
