End Of An Era As Delirious? Bow Out In London After 17 years together as a band, Delirious?, one of the most popular bands in Christian music, brought their illustrious career to an end last night (29th November) with their farewell concert at London's Hammersmith Apollo.

The three hour concert saw the band open the night as the 'Cutting Edge Band', performing many of the songs that made them a household name, such as I'm Not Ashamed, Shout To The North, I've Found Jesus, I Could Sing Of Your Love Forever and Did You Feel The Mountains Tremble.

After a set change, and some different outfits, the five members returned as 'Delirious?' for a rousing send-off featuring all of their biggest hits. Notable performances included Bliss, My Glorious, Solid Rock, Deeper, Jesus Blood, Majesty, Obsession, Rain Down and History Maker.

During the song Investigate, the band were joined by original drummer Stew Smith for an emotional reunion. Returning to the stage for their final encore, Delirious? ended the night, and their time together as a band, with the anthemic My Soul Sings. With his voice struggling with emotions, lead singer Martin Smith thanked the fans and encouraged them to continue being History Makers. Joined on stage by their wives and children, Delirious? took a final bow, and left the stage to a thunderous standing ovation.

The concert was filmed for a Christmas TV show on God TV and for a forthcoming Live DVD planned for release in Spring 2010.
