Delirious? To Appear Live On BBC Radio 2
Last modified: 24 Nov 2001

Delirious? will be performing live on BBC Radio 2's 'Good Morning Sunday' programme (presented by Pam Rhodes) on 25th November between 7 and 9am. The Daily Mail newspaper's 'Weekend' supplement includes a 'Behind the Music' feature on Delirious? as an advert for the Radio 2 show, saying:

"As Delirious themselves are happy to admit, Christian music suffers an aaron-jumper-and-sandals image problem, which explains why they are reluctant to talk about their faith in interviews, preferring to pass themselves off instead as a straightforward rock band. Having spurned the advances of major labels, the band have shown they can hack it on their own with record sales toppping two million and high chart placings. Formed ten years ago in a Sussex church, Delirious, who spearheaded the burgeoning 'worship music' movement, progressed to a support slot on Bon Jovi's tour earlier this year. Today they revert to type for the Good Morning Sunday God slot."
