Last modified: 06 Feb 2004

'World Service' US Release Date Approaching The latest Delirious? album 'World Service' is released in the USA on Tuesday (10th February). The 12-track album features songs such as Rain Down, Majesty (Here I Am) and Inside Outside. 'World Service' was released to the rest of the world, including the UK and Canada back in December 2003, but US fans have had to wait until now for the official Sparrow Records release of the album.

Delirious? will be touring the USA extensively over the next few months to promote 'World Service', with 30 concerts already confirmed between February and July and more expected to be announced soon. Rain Down, the first US radio single from the album, has been receiving airplay for the past month. Rain Down plus Majesty (Here I Am) are also currently available as free downloads from the band's official website.

'World Service' has been receiving excellant reviews from the Christian media, with CCM Magazine recently saying "The band has succeeded in bridging this somewhat confusing gap between rock and worship... the soundtrack is decidedly more hi-fi with modern, sweeping musical arrangements, plenty of the U2-esque guitar riffs that have shaped Delirious' sound and catchy, congregational-friendly hooks".
