Delirious? End 'Paint The Town' Tour With Christmas Show In London The 'Paint The Town' UK Tour came to an end tonight (22nd December) with the annual Christmas show at London's Shepherds Bush Empire. The seven date tour started in Bradford on 9th December and has also seen the band performing in Bournemouth, Bristol, Birmingham, Newcastle and Liverpool. During the tour Delirious? have performed seven of the songs from their new album The Mission Bell.

The tour's finale in London completely sold out more than three weeks in advance. As with the past six years, the Delirious? Christmas show included some festive treats. This year saw Stu G perform a duet with support artist Kendall Payne on 'Let It Snow' and the band covering the Cliff Richard hit 'Mistletoe & Wine'. Delirious? also performed songs from their new album, including 'Here I Am Send Me', 'Now Is The Time', 'Solid Rock' and 'Take Off My Shoes', plus a revamped version of the Mezzamorphis song 'Love Falls Down'.

The Shepherds Bush concert was the band's 71st and final gig of 2005, in a year that has seen them perform in 16 different countries. The 'Paint The Town' UK Tour has proved extremely popular with excited crowds packing the venues each night. Delirious? now take a few weeks off to spend with their families, before embarking on a hectic new year schedule with visits to six different countries in the first two months of 2006.
