Video: DeeperRecorded: Mar 1997 Directed By: Steve Price Length: 3.31 mins Appears on: Archive:d DVD, Pro-Mode Video, View From Terraces Video View online: Not available Background 'Deeper' was the very first Delirious? video ever made. Early in 1997 the band had released their first single 'White Ribbon Day' and having no idea how well it would do they decided not to record a video for it. 'White Ribbon Day' narrowly missed out on the Top 40 (peaking at number 41) but gave Delirious? all the encouragement they needed to make a second attempt at singles chart. 'Deeper' was released on 5th May 1997 and this time the band did record a video which was filmed on the roof of a five story office block in central London. Taking the music industry 'experts' completely by surprise, 'Deeper' sailed straight into number 20 in its first week in the charts, and even managed to hang on for a second week at number 39. 'Deeper' was also rereleased as an EP in November 1997, but only reached number 36. Video Commentary
