Background
The 'Everything' video was shot in a studio in Bow, East London, in September 2000
by director Andy Hutch. Taken from the album 'Glo', the song 'Everything' was
released as a radio single in the USA, with this video to accompany it. Jon Thatcher
described the band's role in the video as "Dancing with fire and singing
in the rain". The video went on to be nominated for a Dove Award in 2002
in the category of 'Best Short Form Music Video'.

The opening few lines of the song are sung gently in the video by Martin
as he stands in the rain, water droplets bouncing from his face. The
video cuts to each member of Delirious? individually, all sombrely
standing in the rain. As the drum beats kicks in, the scene changes.
The huge barn doors of a film studio open and Delirious? walk in. Tim
pauses and with a puzzled look glances at an industrial sized electric
fan. Inside the studio, the band's instruments are set up as if in
a practise room.
Jon opens a flight case, with the words "Jon Thatcher - Delirious?"
stencilled on the lid, and pulls out his bass guitar. He wears a dark
coloured rain coat over a red shirt. Stew wonders around in a black
t-shirt, checking out his drum kit. Stu also in a dark outfit, readies
himself with his guitar. Tim wearing a red leather jacket talks on a
mobile phone. Martin takes off his coat and sunglasses to reveal a black
sleeveless shirt. He picks up the microphone and starts to sing.
Stew walks around with a cup of tea in hand. Martin continues to sing,
now joined by Stu with his guitar. Jon joins in on
the bass, and Stew settles down at the drums. Finally Tim finishes his
phone call and steps behind the keyboard. While the band play, Damo the
roadie is seen walking along and accidentally tripping over
an electricity cable. This causes the electric fan to switch on and
instantly the band are blown about as if in gale-force conditions.
As they battle against the wind, pieces of paper blow all around them
and Stew reaches for his sunglasses. The cup of tea that Stew had been
drinking is blown over, spilling its contents onto an amplifier. Sparks
fly as the equipment ignites and in seconds the band are surrounded by
a wall of flames. Stew, still drumming away, looks over his shoulder at
the fire and we see the flames reflected in his sunglasses.
Seemingly unconcerned by the fires around them, Delirious? continue playing until
suddenly the studio's sprinklers kick in and water pours down on them.
With the fires extinguished, large studio lights appear in the background
and shine through the pouring rain. As the song comes to an end the lights
and the rain blur into nothingness and the video finishes.
