On 28th June 1997 the band took part in a concert at Wembley Stadium, London, called "Champion of the World". The event featured several other Christian artists, such as Matt Redman and Noel Richards, and was filmed for TV. The live video footage of Delirious? performing the song 'Sanctify' was edited into this remarkable music video. The huge crowd present at one of the world's most famous stadia are clearly visible throughout this video. Video Commentary The opening shot in the video shows a densely packed crowd with outstretched hands. Then we see Delirious? stood backstage. They run onto the stage to loud applause. Black and white footage of them running around the stage makes way for full colour shots of them performing the song. Each member of the band is wearing a different coloured football shirt, with a nickname printed on the back. Martin wears the white England shirt with "Smiff" written on it. Jon has "Taff Thatch" on his red Welsh shirt. Stu's bright orange Ireland shirt has "O'Garrad" on the back. Stew wears a blue Scotland shirt labelled "McSmith" and Tim has a green and blue Irish shirt with "O'Jupp" on it. The scene regularly cuts away to show the vast stadium full of arms waving in time to the music. Cameras from all angels show each member of Delirious? on stage. Footage of them backstage in their dressing room is also mixed in. As the songs draws to an end, Martin kneels on the stage, microphone in hand and sings slowly to the crowd: "Looking out, the cloud's getting bigger now, its time to get ready now".
