Appearance At The Dove Awards Confirmed

The Gospel Music Association (GMA) in Nashville, Tennessee (USA) have confirmed that Delirious? have been included in the line-up of performers at the 33rd Annual Dove Awards ceremony on 25th April 2002 at the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville.

The GMA said "UK modern worship and rock band Delirious will add an International flavor to the show". Other artists performing on the night will include Jars of Clay, Steven Curtis Chapman, and Third Day. The Dove Awards will broadcasted live on the PAX TV network in the USA and will be hosted by American Footballer Kurt Warner and Grammy Award winning artist Yolanda Adams.

In January it was announced that Delirious? have been nominated for two awards at this year's Doves, Best Modern Rock Song for the song 'God You Are My God' (from the album 'Glo') and Best Short Form Music Video for 'Everything' (directed by Andy Hutch).

Delirious? have so far been unsuccessful in winning a Dove Award despite receiving nominations for the past three years. Could being invited to perform at the award ceremony this year be a sign that Delirious? are about to win their first ever Dove Award? Find out on 25th April!
