Big Day Out On Littlehampton Beach For Delirious?

The last Littlehampton open-air gig in July 1997 which attracted 8000 fans. As part of the Queen's Golden Jubilee celebrations, Delirious? have been invited by Arun District Council to put on a special open-air gig on Littlehampton beach on 4th June. This free concert, named The Big Day Out will see Delirious? headlining a night of music also featuring artists All Star United, Cathy Burton and Sabio.

The one-off event will commence at 3pm on the Eastern Seafront Green in Littlehampton, West Sussex. In a Press Release announcing the event, Arun council's Public Relations officer Phil Graham said that the evening will end with "a Spectacular Fireworks Display on Littlehampton Beach when the gig finishes at approximately 10pm."

During the mid-90's Delirious? regularly put on open-air Cutting Edge events on Littlehampton beach. The last such event took place in July 1997, attracting a huge crowd of over 8000 fans to the band's home town.
