Spanish 'Cutting Edge' Album Titled 'Libertad' Added: 13 Sep 2002
Delirious? will release an album sung entirely in Spanish next month.
The album is to be titled 'Libertad', which translates into English
as 'Freedom'. Martin Smith rerecorded lyrics in Spanish especially
for the album which will contain 12 songs from the band's Cutting Edge
albums.
Martin spent a week with a vocal coach from Mexico learning the songs in Spanish line by line, but he says the effort was worthwhile "I can’t say how excited I am about this project. This really is something that we as a band can give back to the Spanish speaking people, many of whom come to our concerts around the world." 'Libertad' will be released by Furious? Records on 19th October and will mainly be aimed at the USA and Spanish speaking countries. Details of the tracklisting will be confirmed shortly. Related Links: Discography: Libertad |
