Delirious? Record A Cover Of U2 Song 'Pride' Added: 10 Apr 2003
Whilst in the studio working on their new album, Delirious?
have taken a brief break from recording their own songs and
instead turned their hand to their first ever cover version!
But the track is not destined for their own album, instead
Delirious? have been invited to contribute a song to a
forthcoming collection of U2 covers.
Delirious? have apparently recorded their own version of the 1984 U2 song 'Pride (In The Name Of Love)'. Their cover version of the track will appear on an American compilation album which features other artists covering classic U2 songs. Also lined up for the album are Californian rap-metal group P.O.D. singing 'Bullet The Blue Sky'. Whilst Delirious? have been featured on compilation albums before, this is the first time the band have ever recorded a song they didn't write themselves. Musically, Delirious? have often been compared to U2, making them an ideal band to cover a U2 song. Related Links: |
