Delirious? Song Included On US Duets Compilation CD Added: 23 Jul 2003
A new US compilation album, titled 'It Takes 2', featuring a
collection of duets and collaborations in Christian music,
will include the duet Delirious? recorded with Amy Grant of
the Cutting Edge song 'Find Me In The River'. The track was
recorded back in 1999 for a compilation CD released at that
time called 'Streams', and is now set to be included on this
new duets compilation album.
The 'It Takes 2' CD will be released in the USA on 19th August 2003 by Sparrow Records. Among the 15 duets included on the album are pairings such as CCM giants Steven Curtis Chapman and Michael W. Smith, Britain's Matt Redman singing with Kendall Payne, plus Sonicflood and Lisa Kimmey teaming up for a cover of the Delirious? song 'I Could Sing Of Your Love Forever'. 'Find Me In The River' was written by Martin Smith in 1995 and appeared on the band's 'Cutting Edge' album. In 1999 the band were asked to record a duet of the song with popular US Christian singer Amy Grant, for a compilation project titled 'Streams' released by Word Entertainment. The album proved a huge success and went on to win the 'Special Event Album' Dove Award in 2000, the only Dove Award that Delirious? have achieved so far. Related Links: 'Streams' Album |
