Martin Smith Duets With Darlene Zschech On 'Kiss of Heaven' Album Added: 20 Oct 2003
Delirious? front man Martin Smith appears on Darlene Zschech's
recently released solo album 'Kiss of Heaven'. The album is the
Hillsong worship leader's debut solo album and was released by
INO Records on 13th October. Martin duets with Darlene for a cover
version of the 2001 U2 hit song 'Walk On'.
In recent years Delirious? have performed at the Hillsong events in Australia, and have formed friendships with the popular team of worship leaders. 'Kiss of Heaven' sees a change of direction for Darlene, who has been a worship leader for over 18 years. Her first album as a solo artist is described as "high-energy pop and contemporary arrangements with worshipful lyrics" by the Hillsong organisation. Martin is no stranger to recording duets with other artists. In 2001 he appeared on Graham Kendrick's 'What Grace' album, and in 1998 he dueted on 'The Heart of Worship' for Matt Redman's 'Intimacy' album.
