Top 100 Greatest Songs of Christian Music

A new book charting the all time best one hundred songs in Christian Music is set to include songs by Delirious? in it's list. The book, titled Top 100 Greatest Songs of Christian Music, is due for release on 1st October 2004 and has been compiled by CCM Magazine in the US. The 196 page hardcover book will be published by Integrity Publishers.

Describing the book, the publishers say, "Drawing on its unique history and extensive resources, CCM Magazine presents an entertaining and informative book brimming with intriguing details about the winning songs, plus a wealth of fascinating and fun sidebars that bring Christian music, its artists and lyrics alive to readers". The top 100 songs featured in the book were chosen by a panel of journalists, industry professionals and fans and covers nearly 30 years of music history.

The final 100 songs featured in the book are still a closely guarded secret, but CCM insiders have revealed that at least one Delirious? song is included in the list. Other artists in the Top 100 are believed to include Keith Green, Micheal W Smith, Larry Norman, DC Talk and Jars of Clay. This book follows on from the previous book in the series titled 100 Greatest Albums in Christian Music which was published in January 2001 and included the Delirious? album 'King of Fools'.
