Sequel To Record Breaking Worship Compilation Album Is Released Added: 14 Mar 2005
The sequel to Britain’s biggest ever selling worship album
is released in the UK today (14th March). The three disc
compilation album, titled 'More... Best Worship Songs Ever!',
is the follow up to 'The Best Worship Songs... Ever' album
which was released in March 2004. The first volume of the
compilation went on to break all previous sales records for a
worship album in the UK, with sales of over 104,000 units.
The albums are released on the EMI Virgin label, with the majority of sales for the first volume being in mainstream stores, helped along by TV marketing. As with the first album, 'More... Best Worship Songs Ever!' features 50 of the most well known worship songs sung in churches around the country, and once again includes serveral Delirious? tracks. Songs by artists such as Paul Oakley, Matt Redman, Tim Hughes, Stuart Townend, Noel Richards and Graham Kendrick are also included. Delirious? songs 'What A Friend I’ve found' and 'History Maker' from the 1997 'King of Fools' album, and 'Thank You For Saving Me' from the 'Cutting Edge' album are all included on this second volume of the worship compilation album. The Matt Redman song 'It's Rising Up', which Martin Smith co-wrote with Matt Redman in 1995 is also included on the album. Last year's first volume of the album included 4 Delirious? songs, 'Shout To The North', 'Did You Feel The Mountains Tremble', 'I Could Sing Of Your Love Forever' and 'Lord You Have My Heart'. Both 'The Best Worship Songs... Ever' and 'More... Best Worship Songs Ever!' are available now from stores including Amazon.co.uk. Related Links: 'More... Best Worship songs Ever!'
