Fire In Norwich Causes Venue Change For UK Tour / Derby Sold-Out Added: 21 Feb 2006 Updated: 24 Feb 2006
A fire destroyed the Family Life Centre Church in Norwich
last night (20th Feb) which was due to be part of the Delirious?
UK Tour in two weeks time. Thankfully nobody was injuired
in the devasting fire which saw ninety firefighters battling
in vain to save the timber building. One of the pastors
of the church, Steve Mawston said "It is a great tragedy...
but it will make us stronger."
The Delirious? concert, due to take place on 9th March, has now been moved to a different venue in the Norwich area. It will take place at the OPEN Youth Venue, (20 Bank Plain, Norwich). Tickets for the five-date UK Tour have been selling well, with the final night of the tour in Derby on 11th March already being completely sold-out and only a few tickets available for several other nights including Norwich. The 'Paint The Town' UK Tour 2006 kicks off in exactly two weeks time in Swansea (7th March), before moving on to Bath (8th), Norwich (TBC 9th), Folkestone (10th) and Derby (11th). Tickets are available from DTickets.co.uk priced at £12 including postage and booking fees, or as part of a special offer for a ticket plus 'The Mission Bell' CD for £19. During the tour Delirious? will be supported by British singer/songwriter Jon Bilbrough. Related Links: Tour Dates |
