Delirious? Start The Year With Trip To Singapore And India Added: 15 Jan 2007
Delirious? have arrived in India for a three date tour
starting today (15th) in Bangalore. They will also perform
in Pune (19th) and Mumbai (20th). Originally the band were
also due to perform in Cochin on 17th January but that
event, planned for the Ambedkar Stadium, has now had to
be cancelled.
Whilst in India the band will be sharing the stage with Joyce Meyer, one of the world’s leading practical Bible teachers. Joyce regularly carries out missions in Asia and last January Delirious? joined her for their first visit to India when they took part in her mission in Hyderabad. On that occasion Delirious? performed to a combined total of 1.2 million people over the four-day gathering, with as many as 400,000 people attending in one day. Delirious? travelled to India from Singapore where they performed their first concert of the year. The band played at City Harvest Church during both days of the two day event (13th-14th Jan), leading worship with a mixture of songs mainly from The Mission Bell and World Service.
